How to import xanga post into wordpress

Having switched to wordpress i was hoping i could import my xanga blog entries over. The news is good.

Just a couple of quick things that may save you some headache. When you go to upload the xanga importer into the /wp-admin/import directory you may find the only thing with that name is a php file. There should be a folder named import. If there is not no problem just create a new folder there and name it import then upload the xangaimporter into it then use the import function from within wordpress. 

The other thing is i tried to select all of the archives which it did but it only loaded a couple. Loading one at a time is slower but not a huge deal. I'm just happy i can import my old post.
